When John Robins revealed his struggles with alcohol addiction

Comedian John Robins revealed his struggles with alcohol addiction and discussed his journey of recovery to friend and co-presenter Elis James on the duo's 'How Do You Cope?' podcast in 2023.

Robins said that he felt 'the last light got switched off' as he tried to find a way out of his alcoholism, leading to him seeking help.

The moment has now been crowned moment of the year at the UK ARIA Awards 2024.
